TIME

Time, in the context of global financial markets, can be looked at from different perspectives. With regards to some financial assets, it may be seen as advantageous to have ‘time’ in the market rather than considering ‘market timing’. Time in the market suggests that if you hold a carefully selected asset in the long run, you may do better that trying to pick highs and lows.

The Art of Markets focuses on ‘market timing’. The Art of Market framework provides a strategy that suggests structural reasons why there may be a movement in market trends. This prediction is based on a fact, that the global markets are not linear. They are a living ecosystem of entanglements. The Art of Markets considers seven entanglements – price, time, positioning, fundamentals, risk, confidence and pattern recognition (with intuition). The Art of Markets views these entanglements through multiple lenses, including the market archetypes (bulls, bears, sheep, pigs and wolves) when considering time.
